- Open your shop in ShopFactory
- Click on Properties -> Payment Methods Accepted
- The payment providers list shows up, enable the payment you want by ticking it in this case, tick "Saf-T-Pay" option
- Click Next
- Enter your Saf-T-Pay merchant account details (Username, currencies supported, etc.)
- Make sure you select the currency that matches ShopFactory, once set it cannot be changed in your Total Care account
- Tick the card types under Saf-T-Pay's supported Payment Methods that you want to enable in your shop.
Note: TEST transactions
If you wish to make a number of tests using Saftpay before your account goes live you just need to add TEST infront of your username. When your account is "live" you just update it and remove the word TEST from the username. (TEST in front of user name will take you to the test server)
- Click Next
(Note: You can sort the payment methods display by pressing the up/down arrow)
- Click Finish
- Save and preview your shop. Place a test order.
- Republish your shop so that the changes are uploaded online.
Your shop can now accept online orders.
Just make sure that your shop has been setup to use your GlobeCharge account.
Callback Functionality
Callback Functionality allows your GlobeCharge order to be set to paid once your customer makes payment using SAF-T-PAY that way you know when to send the goods they purchased in your online store
To enable this functionality in your shop you need to do the following:-
1. Open up any text editor
2. copy the callback URL below in the text editor
3. replace with your GlobeCharge username something like aaaaa_1111
so it becomes
https://www.globecharge.com/webshop/saftpay_callback.cgi ?mid=aaaaa-1111
4. Login into your SAF-T-PAY account and add this Callback URL into your account. (copy it from the text editor) -
