In ShopFactory, the weight scale for a product is set to kilos by default but I want to put the weight of my products in by ounces. Am I able to change this or do I need to convert the weight?

Answer: There are multiple options for the weight of a product. These include Kilograms, Grams, Pounds and Ounces.

This can easily be changed through the settings and can be applied only to the site you have created or set as a default for future shops that you may make.

You can change this setting by

1. Clicking the Settings button in the top toolbar.

2. In the drop-down menu, select Global Settings.

3. From the Global Settings dialog for this website, click on Miscellaneous in the tree menu under Settings for this website (to change for only this website)

4. At the bottom of the right hand screen there is a ‘Specify weight in’ section with a drop-down box. From this box pick Ounces or the weight unit you require.

To make this the default setting for any other websites you need repeat Step 3 but choose ‘New Website’ menu and then Repeat Step 4.

5. Choose Settings => rebuild all to rebuild your shop with the new settings
