With the recent release of ShopFactory Cloud as part of your ShopFactory 14 subscription, you can make your gift cards look even better with your own custom designs.
 
OPTION 1. Creating individual Gift Vouchers in different denominations

In ShopFactory:

- Add a new product for your Gift Voucher – take note of the “Catalog Number” as this must match to what you setup in the ShopFactory Cloud backend

- You can also setup options/choices i.e. add a TEXT AREA for recipient name and message to recipient

-Save and publish your shop.

In ShopFactory Cloud interface – Add a Gift Voucher product type:

1: Open ShopFactory 14 and go to ShopFactory Central

2: Click on the ShopFactory Cloud icon and go to the new ShopFactory Cloud interface.

3: Click on My Products to go to your cloud products

4: Click on the “Add Products” button and select the Product Type gift voucher

5: Set up your Gift card / Voucher and publish it.

Once you have created your gift voucher you can start selling it directly by sharing it as a cloud product in emails, via Tweets, on Facebook or through any other channels.

Or you can add it to your ShopFactory store by creating a new product in ShopFactory and assigning the same SKU / Catalog number to it.
 
OPTION 2. Creating one Gift Voucher product but with multiple value levels
You can also create one single voucher with multiple value levels and sell this product in your ShopFactory shop as one Gift Voucher product with options and choices (in different value levels).
 
There is a bit of a learning curve when setting up the same Gift Voucher (with multiple value levels) inside ShopFactory – you need to ensure the Catalog numbers match, otherwise, the Gift Voucher will not work if catalog numbers do not match in ShopFactory and in SF Cloud.
 
In ShopFactory:

- Create a product with the main “Catalog Number”

- Then go to Options/choices menu                         
- Add the option i.e. “Select Gift Voucher Value:”

- Click OK

- Add the choices – in different denominations i.e. $10, $20, $30, $50

- IMPORTANT NOTES:

**You need to set UNIQUE catalog number for each choice.

**After adding all the choices, you need to enable the “COMBINE” option. Combine option will combine the main product catalog number + Choice catalog number. In my above example, my main catalog number is “gvpdf” and then the individual choices catalog numbers are the values of the voucher = once you combine each choice, it will be like this: gvpdf-10, gvpdf-20, gvpdf-30, gvpdf-50, etc.
