There are two types of settings when you setup this discount option.

a)  Only grant free product once and

b)  Give free products based on the quantity of products ordered  

To setup “ Buy this quantity and get this quantity free ” discount for your product please follow the steps below:

- Open your shop in ShopFactory

- On the left side tree view, navigate to the page where the products are displayed

- Locate the product where you want to setup the discount

- Right-lick the product ->"Item Properties", then select "Discount" from the left menu

- Select "Buy this quantity and get this quantity free" from the dropdown menu

- Enter the required values

- Click OK

Now, for the two types of discount settings:

A)   Only grant free product once 

You must set this via Global Settings, see steps below:

- Go to Settings menu-> select Global Settings -> Settings for this Website

- In the Miscellaneous tab TICK the option "Product discount: Free products are only granted once" 

- Click OK 

- Save and preview shop

B)  Give free products based on the quantity of products ordered   

To achieve this simply UNTICK the option: "Product discount: Free products are only granted once" under Settings menu=> Global Settings=> Settings for this Website => Miscellaneous tab and click OK.

- Save and preview your shop.
