 Setting up LinkPoint Connect payment in my shop

NOTICE: First Data Global Gateway is going to replace LinkPoint payment service. Linkpoint is entering a sunset program. Meaning, they are just starting to develop a project plan to start moving merchants over. LinkPoint will continue to be supported at least throughout 2013. But ShopFactory has now added First Data Global Gateway in the payment settings interface.

PART 1 - Globecharge & ShopFactory

Login to your new Globecharge Account and follow the next steps:

1 Login to www.globecharge.com with your account details (you received these in an email)

2. Set up your email address to accept orders in GlobeCharge - Select
from menu Settings => Account Settings - make sure Email for
Orders is
correct, as well as other information and click the Submit button to
save to database

3. Register your Shop
a) Select 'Settings' > Register Shop Details from the Menu
b) Enter the url of your online shop and click Submit

4. Setup your Payment Methods in GlobeCharge

a) Select the menu Settings => Payment Methods Accepted
b) Select Country = United States and Click Yes for automatic payment processor (this will be LinkPoint) and Click Next
c) Select LinkPoint Basic from the list (Click the box on the right hand side) & Click Next (you can select mulitple gateways here if you wish), then Click Next

d) Make sure you select the currency that matches ShopFactory, once set it cannot be changed in GlobeCharge (this is usually the default currency for your country) and then click Next
 
e) Under Payment Settings (Page 5) you will now need to enter your LinkPoint Details



f) Click Next to accept card types.

g) The next screen confirms the card types, currencies accepted, if all ok Click the Finish button to save.

h) Now you need to setup ShopFactory to use your GlobeCharge account. See instructions below

Part 2 LINKPOINT SERVER SETUP

Thefollowing needs to be done on the LinkPoint Server.

1. Login to your account and go to Customization - Settings (Configure your LinkpointAccount)

2.  Submission Form URL

a) Enterthe following:

https://www.globecharge.com/webshop/v6order2.cgi

b) Confirmation URL (text only):

Enterthe following:

http://www.website.com/ShopName/contents/Language/V6Yes.html

Please replace http://www.website.com/ShopName - with your Published Shop's URL
and (WhereLanguage = your Language = e.g. en-us)

 

c) Sorry Page URL

Enterthe following:

http://www.website.com/ShopName/contents/Language/V6No.html

Please replace http://www.website.com/ShopName - with your Published Shop's URL and (WhereLanguage = your Language = e.g. en-us)

4. Donot tick any of the boxes relating to the URL's above.

5. Click Submit

This will complete the Setup of Your Shop

PART 1 - ShopFactory

 

- Open your shop in ShopFactory

 

-  Click on Properties -> Payment Methods Accepted

 

- The payment providers list shows up, enable the payment you want by ticking it in this case, tick "LinkPoint Basic or LinkPoint Select" option

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- Click Next

 

- Enter your LinkPoint merchant account details (Username, currencies supported, etc.)

 

- Make sure you select the currency that matches ShopFactory, once set it cannot be changed in your Total Care account

 

- Tick the card types under LinkPoint’s supported Payment Methods that you want to enable in your shop.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- Click Next

 

(Note: You can sort the payment methods display by pressing the up/down arrow)

 

- Click Finish

 

- Save and preview your shop. Place a test order.

 

- Republish your shop so that the changes are uploaded online.

 

Your shop can now accept online orders.

 

 

 

Part 2 LINKPOINT SERVER SETUP

 

Thefollowing needs to be done on the LinkPoint Server.

 

1. Loginto your account and go to Customization - Settings (Configure your LinkpointAccount)

 

2.  SubmissionForm URL

 

a) Enterthe following:

4. Donot tick any of the boxes relating to the URL's above.

 

5. Click Submit

This will complete the Setup of Your Shop
